Sounds like it's probably not. I'm not a Debian user, but I would start
by checking /etc/crypttab. You should see something like:

$ sudo cat /etc/crypttab
luks-eb0221b9-b2a5-48ee-a60e-d357f81aaa7a UUID=eb0221b9-b2a5-48ee-a60e-d357f81aaa7a none

If you have spare storage it is possible but painful. I've done it by
hand with mkfs/cryptsetup/etc. (Hopefully you used LVM or, a year from
now, btrfs.) The only higher level tools I'm aware of are installers.
Frankly, unless you've already spent a lot of time configuring the
system I would just re-install.

Switch to Fedora. ;-)
