In some circles, it's Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF).

The laptop is probably going to last another couple years, all said and 
done, video card problems or not.  If it didn't break in the first year, 
it's just not going to under normal stresses.  If anyone wanted this 
laptop for gaming, they probably need a learning experience in the 
consequences of stressing hardware anyway.
