Integration Engineer (multiple positions)
Successful systems integration, configuration, performance management
and validation of High-Performance Linux Clusters.
? Responsible for integration and configuration management of
High-Performance Clusters within project timelines and budget
? Administration and management of High-Performance Linux
Clustering environments encompassing all aspects of system, software and
? Provide technical consultation to Sales Teams, Field Sales
Engineers, Partners, Corporate Engineering, Product Marketing groups,
? Advanced Linux System Administration and Configuration
Management skills, advanced troubleshooting skills required.
? Intermediate High-Level Programming language skills required.
(Bash, Perl, Tcsh, Tcl/Tk, Python, etc.)
? Basic comprehension of the C/C++ Programming language.
? Intermediate Networking skills required. (Layer 2 & 3
switches, TCP/IP, IGMP, routing, VLAN, hardware, etc.)
Some travel required (about 25%)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
? BS in CS, Engineering or related degree, completion of
specialized courses of study, or commensurate industry equivalent and
? Previous similar or related professional experience, preferably
in parallel systems and/or High-Performance Computing environments,
Linux, Clustering, System Administration and related technologies.
Customer Support Engineer (multiple positions)
Provides exceptional customer service and technical support via phone,
e-mail or at customer site on some of the fastest supercomputers in the
world. Administers web based support software. Works closely with
engineering on complex problems to ensure customer satisfaction. Must be
a self starter and be able to:
? Promptly and courteously responds to customer support
questions and complaints
? Coordinates customer support and service requirements with
sales, engineering, and production to ensure superior customer
? Maintains all customer related service data in appropriate
database infrastructure and accurately enters technical support
information into LNXI knowledge base
? Excellent Analytical and organizational skills, Good
interpersonal skills a must.
? Networking experience with Ethernet required, Myrinet and
? Knowledge of C, C++, and scripting languages a plus
? Must be a self-starter and be able to multitask
? AA in Computer Science, BS in CS preferred or related degree.
? 6+ years experience supporting a Unix or Linux distribution
(w/at least 2 of those years strictly Linux)
? Red Hat Certified Engineer and/or LPI 1&2 a plus.
? 3+ years troubleshooting PC hardware
? 1 + year configuring and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks
Some travel required (up to 50%)
