These are very good points.  When programming in C, I want the full 8
spaces/full tabs.  In Python, I revert to the python accepted standard
of 4 spaces, but I'm going to begin turning on expandtab and leave ts at
8.  This indeed makes a lot of sense.  Thanks Stuart.
