This exactly thing happened to me while I was doing a show at The Depot a
couple weeks ago. I didn't really think it through as to what the problem
was... I just rebooted the computer, logged back in, and once KDE was up and
running, I STILL COULDN'T TYPE ANYTHING!
Very frustrating. Finally, I logged out and from the login screen I could
ALT+CTRL+F1 to get a virtual console. From there, I moved my .kde/ directory
out of the way, switched back to my X session and logged in with a fresh
configuration that didn't include slow keys.
Since then, I've tried to disable that altogether, but it doesn't seem to
work the way you'd think.
