getting data to and from a windows machine to a linux machine

Does the Linux machine have a static address?  You could have the
Windows machine pull data instead of pushing to it.  For example you
could configure Windows Scheduler to rsync (or even copy via a Samba
shared folder) twice daily (or however often you want Windows to
