Wrong encoding [was Re: autopsy of dead server]

Any  chance the  list  server can  be told  to  stop sending  text/plain
content  as  quoted-printable  encoded?  That would  repair  this  silly
looking signature.  I suppose  it is possible  that the  original poster
sent the  content in this method  and the list didn't  bother to notice,
however, this just shows how broken the list software is in appending an
ASCII signature to a quoted-printable encoded message.
