Biography:

Field Service Engineer - recently laid off - in the Semiconductor Manufacturing industry.

Brief History:
- 3 years Mainframe Computer Test Engineer.
- 4 years Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment Final Test.
- 11+ years Semiconductor Mfg. Field Service.
- 1 year Software Support Engineer.

Served in the United States Army in Intellignece as a Voice Intercept Operator, Korean Language from 1981-1985

Earned a Bachelor of Science, Electronics Engineering Technology degree from DeVry Institute of Technology, Phoenix, Az in 1990.

Additional Information:

I have some experience with UNIX from my time at Amdahl Corp. in System Integration and Test. Now, after many years with the Windows OS family, I am using UBUNTU Linux w/KDE which I find refreshingly 'cool.'

I'm learning the Linux UBUNTU distribution and wanted to associate and collaborate with a good community of users.
