I'm a CS student at BYU, and I work in Computer Support for the Chemistry Department on campus. I'm a little bit of a non-typical computer geek (or nerd if you prefer) in that until about 4 years ago my knowledge of computers was limited to what I needed to play RPG games and some minor tinkering I picked up alongside some AutoCAD work in high school. I've been using Linux for 2 1/2 years now, mostly Ubuntu and Gentoo.

Manage enterprise software (CRM) team that supports sales. For the last 11 years, I've worked in both hardware OEM and software pre-sales.

Family with 4 kids and a cute dog, living in Orem. I'm also a novice beekeeper with 2 hives, hoping to get some honey at the end of each year and 1 additional hive each year.

- 3 years Mainframe Computer Test Engineer.
- 4 years Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment Final Test.
- 11+ years Semiconductor Mfg. Field Service.
- 1 year Software Support Engineer.

Served in the United States Army in Intellignece as a Voice Intercept Operator, Korean Language from 1981-1985

Earned a Bachelor of Science, Electronics Engineering Technology degree from DeVry Institute of Technology, Phoenix, Az in 1990.

Implementation project management in software and IT. Lots of experience recently with CRM system integration, documentation, training, and administering a certification program. Web development in Python/Django, php.

I started messing around with databases in 2005 with Microsoft Access. I moved on to Microsoft SQL Server and finally to PHP/MySQL. I picked up XHTML, CSS and JavaScript on the way. I have worked within a Linux server environment before and am fairly comfortable with command line. I continue to pursue as much education/training as I can with regard to PHP MySQL and hopefully soon mobile app development.
