I've thought about getting one myself to replace a bait-n-switch 
microtek scanner, but I'm tired of paying the inkjet mafia whether I 
print or not.  I've started to wonder if toner has gone the  the 
cheap-printer-costly-refills direction, or if it's still the cheaper 
alternative.
