So, upfront, I'm a JVM guy.  If I were to do it, the frontend would be html
5.  Some combination of: RequireJS, Backbone.js, HandlebarsJS, LESS CSS,
jQuery.  It would connect to a web services backend powered by
http://dropwizard.codahale.com/ with scala as the backend language of
choice.
