Digi has made Linux compatible serial cards for years. Go to www.digi.com.

Here is one that actually lists "Linux" as a supported OS, and it
includes 8 ports:

http://store.era ( http://store.era/ )-ele.com/8port-db9pin-rs232-serial-pci-controller-card-p-126.html

I couldn't find a brand name, a website, or anything that would indicate
which Kernel version their driver is for, though.
