Well, DVDs are only 480p at best, so 540p is still an improvement and
should look pretty good over component cables.  I like HD, but I still
find a good DVD transfer very watchable.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your lack of BluRay player with all those
reasons you have for not purchasing one.
