HP anything is a pretty good bet for Linux support. I have a HP C3135
printer/scanner hybrid. I have been able to install it on OpenSuse,
Fedora, and Ubuntu easily. For OCR, xsane has done perfectly for it,
and it interfaces with the HP scanner drivers perfectly.
