At my office, a security software development shop, we use encryption  
all the time.  Some more than others, but we still use it  
nonetheless.  As far as home users or non-technical users I cannot see  
that it would be that easy for them to change their ways and actually  
use it... and see that it is advantageous for them in their Internet  
communications.
