Thanks for mentioning that article. I noticed one small problem in it. They didn't know if HPFS ran on the NT kernel. It did through Windows NT 3.51 at least. I know Windows NT 4 wouldn't let you format it, but I don't know if it could read it or if you were forced to upgrade to NTFS.
