On a personal note I would never even consider $ony.  Remember that rootkit they made all those years ago & how "well" they removed it.  IE you traded one major security flaw for another one.  I'm never going to trust $ony ever again.  From reading the thread so far it looks like you are avoiding supporting a truly evil company.
