I've talked with my wife about this some. We weren't discussing either
of us dropping out of school, but merely speculating the trend, and just
how much longer the paradigm of ever-more-expensive schooling can hold
out. I tend to think there's a paradigm shift coming down the pipe.
Whether that's a dramatic change in schooling expenses and structure, or
a complete rebellion against college I can't say.
