Becoming a Professor is a good reason to get a grad degree then.
Without having done my research, but having lived in Virginia, I would
generally think UVa would be better for a PhD than VA Tech. I would
check with your advisor though and look at the stats for both. My
Uncle is an MIS Professor at Old Dominion in Norfolk - I'd be happy to
introduce him to you so you can get his opinion.
