IMHO, OpenLaszlo is a lot easier than Flex and it has streaming capabiliies
using the red5 server.
It's all tomcat based, so get ready for XM(HEL)L configuration files.

I believe they have streaming video demos in red5 that you could
deconstruct. Both of those are open source and work quite well. (Make sure
you have LOTS AND LOTS of ram)
