i've been playing with that as well, and also have little success.  I
have also been trying to get WOL from S3 working, again with no
success.  So just to make sure I could out do my machine I setup the
ability to wake up a couple minutes before a recording.  It's nice for
the FE/BE combos, but for the dedicated FE I would really like to get
the wake on remote working.
