That worked wonderfully.  I did have to allow both tcp port 1723 and the
GRE protocol in through my firewall rules.  Anyway, a couple of changes
to 2 config files and it was running just fine.  Remote syncing (via
sshfs and amarok) too!  Awesome.  L2TP is probably overkill anyway.
