+1 for Levi. Building big houses on small lots has much more to do with
developer greed than it does with land constraints. The customers of
developers want McMansions, not acreage, so that's what they get: a
3,000 square foot monstrosity, built behind a garage, with a
broomstick's length between you and the neighbors.
