Guys > Oddly enough, all-in-one units often work well with linux I'll second this. the hp photosmart c7180 was recognized right away under ubuntu gutsy as soon as I plugged it in and worked right away for scanning from gimp. It took half an hour of installing hp drivers to use under xp! Brad
