Enabling ssh-agent?

That's ssh forwarding.  You can ssh -A or set it in the ssh_config file.

Be really careful about this.  Anyone that has root (legit or otherwise) 
can very easily hijack your forwarded session info to gain your access 
on any other boxes you have key access on.
