just look through the api reference for things that make you think
"hmm, I think I've seen something like that in the stdlib / cheese
shop" :)

for instance,

twisted.lore (a docgen system)
some of twisted.mail
lots in twisted.python

Just because you're doing something with the network doesn't mean
you're automatically I/O bound.
