Are you just wanting to rip a DVD and make a smaller movie file out
of it? If so and you are on a Mac you can use MacTheRipper for
copying the DVD to your hard drive and then Handbrake to compress
them into h.264 movies for QuickTime and AppleTV, iPod, etc.
