MythTV and Your Service?

I have DishNetwork and built a MythTv (0.20) setup.  The hardest part
was getting lirc to drive the IR blaster on my PVR 150.  I managed to
get everything working after a few false starts.  I kept a somewhat
detailed log of the process at

The whole process was trying enough that I do not dare update the
nvidia drivers or the linux kernel.
