Awesome!  That's definitely a sweet hack.  Too bad Austin is so
unreasonable, and hasn't read the HID specs.  I expect that with time
FlightGear will surpass X-plane in all the ways the count.  

I'll definitely be using this little hack of yours.  thanks!
