Can't connect to WLAN

I can connect to this access point on my Windows partition with the
laptop in the exact same position. I tried the hex and string version
of the WPA key and neither work on my Ubuntu box but the WPA key works
in Windows (I put it in to verify this). Neither distance nor the key
are the issue.
