 From the PEP:
"Further, LISP provides a Roman numerals literal package, so adding  
Roman numerals to Python will help ease the LISP-envy sometimes seen  
in comp.lang.python."

Oh well, I guess the poor comp.lang.python denizens will have to  
continue on with their Lisp-envy. ;)
