Iodynamics, an IT and Web services company serving business customers from
Provo to Logan, seeks contract consultants to help meet the increasing
needs of our clients. The expertise and focus of Iodynamics is on
open-source solutions.
We are currently looking for individuals who have good to excellent
competency in the following areas:
- Red Hat Linux (FC and CentOS too) installation and automation
(kickstart)
- Samba server configuration and integration
- Linux Virtual Server (LVS) configuration
- Open source system integrity verification and intrusion detection
- Asterisk/VOIP configuration and administration
- Basic to advanced network design and infrastructure
- VPN (OpenVPN, OpenSWAN, Cisco) configuration and administration
- Perl/mod_perl/Catalyst programming
- Web page design and graphic design
We are looking for people who can work as-needed on various projects.
Iodynamics tries to be very flexible and, as a result, it's usually easy to
accommodate the needs of Iodynamics and hold down a full-time job or school
schedule during the day.
Contract rates are negotiable and based on experience and skills. We
operate an office in the Salt Lake City area, but contract consultants will
probably want to work from home.
The possibility of these types of contract positions turning into regular
part-time or full-time permanent positions is good. A position with
Iodynamics offers the opportunity to dabble in many different areas from
web design, web development, network design, hardware design,
troubleshooting, high-availability services, and more.
If you are interested or have any questions, please e-mail me with the
subject line of "SuperGeek". My e-mail address is fozz at iodynamics.com.
If you've applied with us before, don't be shy. :)
