I don't know if it was the only reason, but one was because it  
sounded better for their industry. "tier four" is a level on a  
standard quality criteria scale for data centers. It is my  
understanding that the "UV" in "UV Net" stood for "utah valley,"  
which limits you geographically. The "net" also sounds more like an  
ISP then a data center.
