COMPUTER OPERATOR II – PART TIME
Department: IT
Location: Manufacturing Facility, Spanish Fork, Utah
Hours: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday – Friday
Pay Range: $12.13/beginning range, $18.70/ending range


Job Summary:

Performs the following types of duties: monitors computer systems to
be sure they are running optimally; coordinates between day and night
operations to be sure all tasks are completed; interfaces with outside
vendors for maintenance calls, reordering of forms and supplies;
maintain tape library; distribution of reports, checks, and Manager
lists; makes changes to jobs and bat files; provides resource
information for other NSP employees in mainframe and
microcomputer-related questions; performs other related duties as
assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Knowledge: of overall computer operations, UNISYS A series, Microsoft
XP, NSP safety guidelines and procedures.
Skill: in using DOS, Windows, Excel, Word, Viaduct, CANDE, WFL, Adage,
and USSYS.
Ability: to keep accurate records and reports, organize time, and
prioritize job duties. Ability to communicate clearly with other
employees at NSP.
Education: 1 to 2 yrs computer science education or equivalent experience.
