Alan Kay to speak at the U

Just saw (via Phil Windley's blog) that Alan Kay is speaking at the U  
this month as part of the Organick Lectures program there.  See

In case you haven't heard of him, Alan Kay is one of the pioneers of  
the modern PC and object oriented programming.  He and his team  
developed the Smalltalk system at Xerox PARC, from which Apple  
famously got a lot of their GUI ideas for the Macintosh.

Should be well-worth attending!
