I would too.  I would also subscribe to a local SUSE or Ubuntu list. 
While I love Gentoo, I've tried giving it to other people and it has 
never been a good fit.  So I use Gentoo if the box is mine, Ubuntu if 
the box belongs to someone else, and SUSE if the box belongs to a business.
