Who decided that it was okay to swear, as long as you change the letters
to their equivalent symbols?  If it's okay to swear, that's fine -- no
need for symbols.  If it's not okay, then how does using symbols make it
okay?  If anything, it seems to just draw attention to it.

I've just always wondered...
