I am attempting to mount my exter hard drive in slackware.
I can see it attempting to detect it, but how do I mount it.
I can not find where it is?
I tried to mount it like this.
mount -t ntfs /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usbdrive
mount: dev/sdb is not a valid block device
/var/log/messages
kernal: hub.c: new USB device 00:10.3-2 assigned address 3
dmesg
kernal: hub.c: new USB device 00:10.3-2 assigned address 3
WARNING: USB Mass Storage data integrity not assured
USB Mass Storage device found at 3
lsmod shows an ntfs module i think
ntfs 51232 0 (autoclean)
please help, I am trying to listen to my mp3's.
