Accessing Caller ID

I found http://ncid.sourceforge.net/ while playing with tivo hacks.  I
haven't used this package, but it implies that you can just use a
modem.

Sounds like a fun hack... but luckily i've had broadband long enough
to move all of my (non-laptop) modems to my junk shelf.
