UVLUG hosts meeting on networking and firewalls

The Utah Valley Linux Users Group will host a meeting this Saturday on 
"Firewalls, IP Tables and Networking in Linux"

Learn how to share and secure your Internet connection in your
apartment, home, or office.  Block your servers and desktops from direct
attacks from outside hosts.  Put old PCs to work serving your
network and answering your firewall needs!

We will:
Discuss IP Networking *basics*.
Learn to set up a dhcp server.
Set up packet forwarding (network sharing).
Create a firewall on a network.
Set up a DMZ (DeMilitarized Zone) for servers.
Share miscellaneous networking hacks (as time and audience participation
allow).

WHERE:
UVSC, CNS Building, Room CS 404

WHEN:
This Saturday, February 5th @ 10:30am

WHO:
Anyone interested in Linux, networking, and/or firewalls.
